I discover Jianghu Hotpot Restaurant when one of my clients invited me to have lunch there. This popular Hotpot restaurant specializes in wagyu beef hotpot. after my first satisfying experience, I decided to bring my kids and they were so excited to cook by themselves. I live in Jurong and Jiang Hu Hotpot is located in Bedok which is quite far from travel for us, yet the effort is compensated with good food, fast service (which you can hardly find in many restaurants nowadays.
You can choose two types of soup and enjoy the varieties of meat. All their meat is fresh.
Wagyu beef is the best part of the meal. People from the west (like me) go all the way to Bedok just for this. And it’s all worth it. Oh, they also give a complimentary Chinese Plum wine. The one that you see in the little jar. they are delicious.
It was a great experience for my girls to cook the food that they will eat. They really enjoy it so much. They were so serious about cooking and told everyone that they cook their own food in the restaurant 🙂
Kids loving Wagyu Hotpot
Jianhu Hotpot is a “kid-friendly restaurant”. They have a free flow of desserts available (which I use to bribe the kids to finish their food as they can choose their ice cream dessert after). I pay a full adult price for my 7-year-old daughter and 50% OFF for my 5-year-old daughter and the 3 years old is free of charge. They will also check the height to determine the discount to apply. You can reach them out easily at their Facebook page and messenger chat here: https://www.facebook.com/jianghu.hotpot
Here are the options for the soup as well as vegetables etc…
Here is the pricing. This was the last 2019 of December. Please inquire about the latest pricing if there have been changes. Only the Royal package has the Wagyu Beef. For a pax for 5 (2 adults & 3 kids) i spend around SGD 100+++ Awesome food, Great experience, will definitely come back! PS: If you happen to visit and the owner is there, he sang Chinese acoustic songs on the stage. My foreign clients enjoy it a lot, it completes their Singapore experience.
